MFWA 2016 – DAY 4

MFWA 2016 – DAY 4

MFWA 2016 – Day 4 – Show 1: Parascandolo

There’s no point in hiding it. Marco and his show were the reasons I got out of my cosy bed this morning after only 4 hours of sleep. Marco is loved by everyone; bloggers, photographers, designers and there were so many people from the audience wearing Marco’s past designs. This, however, can quickly work against a designer since expectations run higher every year. But just when we think ‘Oh, it can’t get any better than last year’s’…it does!

MFWA 2016 – Day 4 – Show 2: Rosita Silk Sense

Rosita Silk Sense was up next in our list of 3 fashion shows for the day. I was looking forward to this show as I’ve never heard of the brand or of the designer before. After witnessing some of the pieces from the collection called ‘Joie De Vivre’ first-hand, I can definitely say that I am interested to know more.

Rosita’s main aim is to bring something new to the fashion market; hand-painted silk pieces made to make the wearer feel special, elegant and original. The cool colours in the designs blend well with the silk material, making every piece feel fresh. Rosita’s designs give off the feeling of watching a painting develop on wearable delicate silk.

MFWA 2016 – Day 4 – Show 3: Intune by Claudia Goagara

Claudia Goagara presented her collection called ‘Interlude’ as the last fashion show of the night (read all about fashion shows one and two, here and here). This collection is inspired by Malta’s blooming spring. In fact, there is a gorgeous pink flowery dress which would be ideal to wear for a morning wedding.

The pieces vary from cocktail dresses to formal gowns and from nude colours to black, elegant pieces. This unique collection offers something for anyone looking for a feminine, chic and intricate design.
